After COVID, we must consider that many learners do not prefer remote environments, making UDL an urgent framework. We will discuss tips for providing learners options in the remote context.
Outcomes: After participating in this session, learners will be able to: Explain how learning differences impact learner persistence, retention, and satisfaction; Identify invisible barriers within remote environments; Define and explain the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) framework; Collaborate to brainstorm practical strategies for providing learners with options in materials, interactions, and assessments in remote environments.
